Hey Btweeners! We don’t know about you, but lately we’ve been very busy with a lot of schoolwork, and even work we have get done at home! Any type of work can be stressful and hard at times, and it gets tougher as we get older. It may seem easy to just give up, but we’re here to tell you to keep on trying! Trust us on this, all hard work will pay off in the end and it will definitely be worth it. But, if you don’t believe us, here are some of our favorite words from others that may convince you…
1) Picasso the amazing painter said it himself, and he is right.
Whatever you dream to be can happen, as long as you work hard
to accomplish that dream and never give up, just like Picasso.
2) This quote is true on so many levels. How do you expect to
accomplish your goal if you don’t start working on it? This means
starting with something so little, like doing your homework and
studying well for tests and quizzes. You may not believe it, but that
can and will get you to your goals in life!
3) Similar to our last quote, but prettier! If you want to make a
rainbow of your dreams, you must start somewhere first! Whether
it’s a chore at home, or an assignment you must do for school, if you
work hard at what life brings you, you will create a rainbow that will
lead you to your colorful dreams!
We hope we’ve shown you how important it is to never give up. Even if you really don’t want to do something important at times, you should think about how it can lead you a step closer you to your goal. But be sure to remember not to overwork yourself. When you feel you’ve done a lot of homework one night and you’re really tired, take a rest, because health is way more important. As long as you keep yourself healthy, trying and working hard at something will lead you to a great life!

As Audrey Hepburn once said, always be happy with who you are and what you have. Happiness and self confidence will make you even prettier than make-up will!

We agree with Dr. Suess on this one. Go out and do something you love, even if you’re friends aren’t doing the same!

To us, this quote means that the prettiest way to dress is to dress for yourself and what you think is pretty and appropriate. Don’t base your fashion on what you think will impress guys. Remember, the way you dress will reflect how you are on the inside.

Almost 4 million kids are victims of bullying each year. Each and every day there are so many kids afraid to walk out of their houses and go to school because they are abused by other kids. You may think of bullying as only physical harm, but this is not true. Whether it is over the computer, through texting, or even saying mean things to someone in person, bullying exists everywhere. (After all, words can hurt more than sticks and stones.) This is a serious matter, but it can be stopped! We ask all of our Btweens to please take a stand if you see a friend, or even someone you may not know so well, being bullied in any way by someone else. Stand up to the bully yourself, or even tell an adult immediately! We know you can do the right thing!
For more information on what you can do to prevent bullying and the different types there are, visit . Also, if you have any concerns, questions, stories, or anything you would like to get off of your mind, please feel free to e-mail us at [email protected] and we will respond as soon as we can! We would love to hear from you!

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming The Fashion Class into our showroom.
The girls were able to explore our office and see the “behind the scenes” of building a fashion brand.
They were able to speak with our owners, our fashion designer and our director of sales to get a full spectrum of the in and outs of the industry. We had so much browsing through designs and giving out goodies!

The fashion class began in 2010 as a summer camp in Brooklyn NY. Today The Fashion Class operates in four locations throughout NYC; Midtown Manhattan, Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Brooklyn.

They offer classes for children ages 6-13 years old and teenagers 13-18 years old in the areas of fashion design, sewing, and accessory design. Their courses run for 10 weeks throughout the school year with after school and weekend class options.
